Our company mission is to help Earth benefit from Space. SSC is a leading, global provider of advanced space services, with more than 50 years of experience. We partner with institutional and commercial customers worldwide.

Swedish Institute of Space Physics

The Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF) is a governmental research institute under the Ministry of Education. IRF conducts basic research and postgraduate education in space physics, space technology and atmospheric physics. IRF has 60 years of experience in developing instruments for space research projects and participates in several major international collaborative projects using satellites and ground-based equipment.

EISCAT Scientific Association

EISCAT is an international scientific association with member institutes in several countries. We conduct ionospheric and atmospheric measurements with radars. As an example we can observe effects of the aurora borealis or the northern lights. We operate in three countries: Finland, Norway and Sweden, and all our facilities are located north of the Arctic circle. We are associated with our radar antennas, that are located in Kiruna, Sweden; Sodankylä, Finland; Tromsø, Norway and in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. In Tromsø we also have a combined ionospheric heating and short-wave radar facility.

The purpose of GSO is to support projects in their current and future endeavors. This includes deepening the collaboration between the projects, providing a platform for sponsorship opportunities, and helping students and projects to meet each other. The goal of GSO is to facilitate and drive future iterations of the current projects, allowing them to expand and improve. Since projects usually last longer than most of the study programs at the Space Campus, GSO becomes an important part in integrating the new students into projects.
